Plavix and Aspirin reduces stroke risk
The combination of anticoagulant generic Plavix and aspirin effectively replaces other types of medicines for people at high risk of stroke and heart attack due to cardiac arrhythmia or atrial fibrillation.
Typically, during atrial fibrillation, which leads to the formation of blood clots, it is prescribed Warfarin. But about 40% of these patients do not take it. Some patients are at risk of bleeding, while others are not able to withstand the dietary restrictions and frequent blood tests. Until now, the only solution for them becomes Aspirin and Plavix, which prevent blood clotting.
