Proscar and prostate in men

Online Proscar pills – a synthetic 4-azasteroidnoe compound – a drug from a new class of specific inhibitors of 5-alpha reductase, an intracellular enzyme that converts testosterone into a more active androgen – dehydrotestosterone. Proscar has no affinity for androgen receptors.

Prostate growth and subsequent development of adenomas depend on the conversion of testosterone into dehydrotestosterone within the prostate gland. As a result of inhibition of 5-alpha reductase inhibitor for 24 hours after ingestion of the drug there is a noticeable decrease in the concentration of DHT in the system circulation and within the prostate gland.
